Laser marking tools

Metal and non metal surface marking can be done by using marking tools. Marking helps to distinguish a company from another . A company logo with alphabet, number and various graphical shapes are the most commonly used marks. The tools used for appropriate marking are marking stamps, blocks, punches and dies, in order to grant permanent, neat and precise marking stencil, engraving tools, stamping tools and embossing tools can be used. On metal such zinc, steel and on non metals such as plastic permanent and high definition marking can be done with the help of hand or laser marking machine as required. Certain industrial application such as cutting, marking, stamping, embossing and engraving can be done by laser marking which provide a simple and precise marking technique. Special software's are intended for computer aided marking.
Laser engraving is implemented by a complex and technical technique employing lasers to engrave, etch or mark an object in which movement of laser head is driven by computer system. The practice of incising a mark or design using engraving tools is known as laser engraving. They are pushed onto the metal surface to develop a cut or a design. A Wider line depends on intensity of penetration. Engraving tools with unique and recognizable quality marks can be differentiated based on steady, clean and deliberate form.
The laser engraving technique controlled by computer provides a simple and flexible method for engraving.

Laser engraving

Laser marking machine is used in a dynamic, highly adaptable process for high speed character, logo, graphic, barcode and 2D matrix marking. The major components in the machine include a laser, controller and a table surface. The laser beam is generated from the pencil, whose movement is controlled by the computer controller, and the surface chosen depends on the application of laser drawing. The laser beam can remove metal from a surface quite easily. The metal erosion takes place due to the intense heat developed by the beam. By programming the controller, different shapes of complex shape and design pattern can be generated and engraved. There is no fear that the beam will deviate its path as the exact position is known by the controller. Very accurate and decorative drawings can be made easily by adding a laser table to the machine. The ability to operate in vector and raster mode brings out vey accurate printing results.
Laser marking is a printing technique used to engrave or mark an object. Laser engraving is the process of marking design or prints on metal surfaces. The technique does not involve the use of inks or any kind of tools, but a sharp laser beam is concentrated on the surface to create that design or marking. Replacement is not required as there is no ink or tool used in this method. Techniques like printing, hot branding and laser bonding comes under this. Natural materials like wood and rubber, plastics, metals, alloyed compounds, stone and glass can be subjected to this technique. Excellent results are achieved if the power, speed and focusing of the laser beam onto the object is correctly made. It finds application in fine arts and jewelry.
